Membership Requirements
- ξApplicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- ξAssociate membership applicants must sign a waiver, affirming that they will not represent themselves as a professional biologist or professional biology practitioner in any jurisdiction where legislation prohibits such representation, unless they have the required professional accreditation from an authorized accrediting organization, such as, in the case of the Province of British Columbia, the College of Applied Biologists.

- sA member will cease to be in good standing if fees are not paid within two (2) months of the due date stated on the notice of fees. A member may be removed from the Register if fees are not paid within six (6) months of the due date stated on the notice of fees.

π Membership applications are reviewed on the Monday following receipt of your application and payment.
β Once reviewed, applications will typically be approved within 2 business days, provided all required information has been submitted.
π Please note that the APB office is open Mondays only, and applications are processed according to this schedule.
π‘ To avoid delays, please ensure your application is complete at the time of submission.
